We use a traditional timber core in our board construction, but we use solid MDF instead of soft board. This makes our product more impact resistant and durable than competitors' products. All boards are supplied with an integrated pen rail. All boards have a “balancing backer,” which seals the back of the timber panel, preventing warping of the timber in high-humidity environments.
